Retro's Factions is an old-school Factions server. I first ran it in 2020 and rebuilt it from scratch in 2026. Bedrock and Java players play in the same world, so you can join a Java player's faction or raid their base from your phone.
It isn't pay-to-win. Every rank is earned with in-game money, and the store only sells cosmetics and a few conveniences. Ranks, kits, crate keys and boosters are never sold.
How to join on Bedrock (phone, tablet or Windows):
- Address: play.retrosfactions.net
- Port: 443
- Use the address, not a number IP. If you can't connect, update Minecraft and try again.
What's on the server:
- Make a faction, claim land and raid with TNT and cannons. Claims stop griefers, not raiders.
- A faction starter kit once a week with /kit faction: obsidian, stone bricks, chests, hoppers, iron doors, 8 TNT and a faction banner.
- KOTH every day at 3 PM, 6 PM and 9 PM Eastern (with 2 or more players online) for $10,000, a crate key and the KOTH King title.
- 7 quests for new players in /quests. Each pays $1,000, and finishing all 7 pays $5,000 and a crate key.
- Daily login rewards: $1,000 on day 1, up to $7,000 and a crate key on day 7.
- Faction of the Month: on the 1st, the top faction gets $25,000 per member and a place in the Hall of Fame.
- 11 ranks to earn with in-game money, from Recruit to Emperor.
- A Mini Games hub: BedWars (1v1 up to 2v2v2v2), The Pit, Spleef and TNT Run. There's a BedWars tournament every Saturday at 7 PM Eastern.
- /shop, /sell, an auction house, mcMMO, a free season pass and a daily sky parkour.
Menus like /shop and /ah open as chest menus you can tap, and Bedrock players get the same rewards as everyone else.
